Compántas Lir have been drawn to perfrom in the the All-Ireland Drama Finals, Ballyduff, Co.Waterford on Sunday night 19th April. The draw took place yesterday, Sunday 6th April and Compántas were represented by Chairman John Brennan, Producer Bríd Conneely, Secretary Ruth O'Driscoll and Sile Mannion.
The group performed their award winning show in the Town Hall over the weekend, Friday and Saturday, to packed audiences both nights. The shows allowed the group to introduce some minor changes to the performance. The group now will rehearse in the evenings until the All-Ireland appearance.
There will be a meeting for the group tonight, Monday April 6th in Carnmore Community Centre at 9pm, to finalise details of the next two weeks in the build up to the final. All members are asked to attend or make contact with the group.
