John has appeared to great accliam in previous productions such as Dry Rot, Play On and Pygmalion. A Glenamaddy native, John has been involved with serveral drama companies over the years, starting off with the Tonlegee Players in Dublin in the 1980s. More recently for Morwax Productions and the Tribes Theatre company wheil for his native twon players he played Dealty in Translations. He won Best Actor award for this performance in Michaelmas Eve at the Ballyshannon Drama Festival.
