Malachy is one of our most colourful and versatile actors and has starred as Hegarty in Drama at Inish, winning many awards as Mickey in Anyone Could Rob a Bank and Brother Simon in the Sorcerer's Tale. He received three Best Actor awards for his most memorable role as Johnsie in Them. More recently he appeared as Mr Wilson in Harvey, as Father Loran in John B's Moll and Liam Scuab in Sive, and as Mr.Montford in An Ideal Husband. Malachy as also directed 2 one-act plays Cuckoo and Three Knaves of Normandy in our Supper Theatre, and also played in Declan Varleys premiere of Company of Friends.
