A founder member of Compántas Lir, Carmel has held almost every administrative role in the group. She has been central to the success of our annual Autumn Theatre productions both on-stage and behind the scenes over the years. She has appeared in many of the group’s productions such as “Ten Little Indians”, “Drama at Inish”, “Careful Rapture”, ”The Sorcerer’s Tale”, “Mungo’s Mansion”, “An Ideal Husband” and “Dry Rot”. Her most recent role was that of Mrs. Higgins in “Pygmalion”, but this year Carmel has discovered her true vocation as Mother Mary of the Seven Saints.
