The results of the All-Ireland Confined section of the Amateur Drama Festival were on Saturday night in Glenamaddy. Compántas Lir had a credible 3rd place, in 2nd were Lislea, and in 1st place was Ferns. The group also had Nomination for Philip Cribbin for best producer, Nominations for Dermot Hession for Best Actor and for an acting scholarship and for Ruth for Best Actress and for an acting scholarship. While the group were dissapointed not to have won the All-Ireland, they must be congratulated for putting in a huge effort this year and left no stone unturned. They can now enjoy a much deserved rest after a long 6 month rehearsal and touring schedule. Comments (0)
