Pádraig’s first loves were hurling and football until he caught the acting bug in his first role as Carthage in Marina Carr’s “By the Bog of Cats”. Other roles in “Hallowe’en” and “Professor Tim” earned him his first lead role last year for his award-winning portrayal of John Joe Moran in “A Crucial Week in the Life of a Grocer’s Assistant.” He claims to be enjoying his stint in the monastery this year!
