The Home of Compántas Lir

The resuls of the Claremorris Festival came in Sunday night and an elated Rita O'Reilly who represented the group, received awards galore.

Overall the group won the Best Play in the Confined section:

Compantas Lir Cambusdonald' . In Second were D.A.D.S. 'A Thief Of Christmas' and in third were Phoenix Players, Tubbercurry with 'At The Black Pig's Dyke'.

Philip Cribbin was awarded with Best Director, Frank and Adrian Moran for Best Lighting and both Vincent Moran and Paddy Greaney were nominated for Best Actors although they didn't triumph this time.

Compántas Lir now only have one more show to perform, in Glenamaddy on this Friday night. There are also three more results to come in, Claregalway, Cavan and Shercock.....

well done on the first first. Should be no bother picking up one more from the four results to come in.
